Safety is our only standard.
The Solairus Aviation Safety Department is core to our safety culture. With the motto, "A Sustainable Culture of Safety," Solairus has a well-defined safety department that serves a vital and active role in everyday operations. The combination of the established Solairus Aviation safety protocols and support from the Aviation Research Group provides a program that meets the stringent ARG/US standards, including the imminent implementation of a Safety Management System, not required by law until 2012. Essential to this program is a risk assessment analysis, to be completed by dispatch, maintenance and aircrew prior to release for any flight.

As a testament to our safety and operational practices, we have received the coveted Platinum rating from the Aviation Research Group US (ARG/US). ARG/US a leader in safety, operational, auditing, market research and reporting to the business aviation industry.  Solairus is one of fewer than 100, of approximately 1,000 private aircraft charter and aviation asset management companies, in the U.S. to hold ARG/US’s Platinum rating after passing an on-site audit administered by aviation auditing professionals to evaluate the operator against industry best-practice standards.

Solairus Aviation has a Safety and Training Officer who reports directly to the President & CEO. We also have a safety committee, comprised of experienced personnel from each of our operational departments, which meets quarterly to create and maintain an active interest in safety, loss control and accident prevention. All Solairus team members have an "open line" to the Safety Department and Safety committee, as well as the President & CEO, when it comes to safety. This open, no-recourse, policy goes a long way in maintaining safety as the Company’s number one priority.
