When did you start flying?

My father and I went to a "Learn to Fly" seminar in Palo Alto, CA on Halloween in 1980.


What inspired you to become a pilot?

When I was seven years old, my father's friend took me up in a 150 Cessna. I've been hooked ever since.


What do you like most about flying the Citation CJ3?

The CJ3 has great short field capability, which increases the number of airports that I'm capable of visiting, and it has tremendous range on very little fuel. It also climbs extremely well and it offers our clients a comfortable regional option.


What are the characteristics of a great pilot?

Without a doubt, safety is the most important aspect of good airmanship. There is literally nothing more crucial than knowing that everything that can be done to ensure a safe flight is completed to the utmost degree.
